It was rumored by White House sources that Sarah Huckabee Sanders will leave the White House by the end of the year, but she didn't want to come to the White House podium on Monday.

According to a White House official, Sanders knew there would be questions about the administration's policies on separating children from their families coming over the border. For that reason the White House flew in Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen.

"Secretary Nielsen met with POTUS at 3 pm over illegal immigration crisis," tweeted CNN reporter Jeff Zeleny. "The meeting ran overtime, and at times was tense among all participants and POTUS, which is why briefing was repeatedly delayed, several WH officials say."
