
As the G7 summit nears, President Donald Trump's pledge to renegotiate tariffs against America's trade partners has drawn the ire of the international community.
On Monday, a different set of critics voiced their concerns to MSNBC: farmers in rural America who are worried about how their businesses will be impacted by the trade talks.
"This is something totally new," one farmer told a reporter in a segment aired on the Ali Velshi show. "We've dealt with weather ... but never really a government trade dispute."
