Senate Judiciary Committee Chuck Grassley (R-IA) on Thursday interrupted ranking member Diane Feinstein's (D-CA) opening statement in a hearing about the sexual assault allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
At the start of a hearing with sexual assault accuser Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, Grassley asked Feinstein to read her opening statement after he read his.
But Grassley quickly interrupted when Feinstein tried to read Blasey Ford's biography.
"By the way, I was going to introduce her, but if you want to introduce her, I would be glad," Grassley complained. "I didn't forget to do that, because I would do that just as she was about to speak."
"Thank you," Feinstein replied, barely hiding her annoyance.
