Rep. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) and Mayor Andrew Gillum (D-FL) met for a CNN debate Sunday evening. While the candidates debated the issues, the internet debated the body language of DeSantis.
The debate began with a very tight-lipped smile from DeSantis. There were points at which DeSantis' eyes glistened as if they were watering. When he wasn't speaking, he seemed jittery and uncomfortable, shifting and fidgeting. Some even remarked that the difference harkened back to the Richard Nixon vs. John F. Kennedy debate.
