Kim Davis, the clerk in Rowan County, Kentucky who was jailed for refusing to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples, lost her campaign for re-election, LEX 18 reports.
Davis was challenged by Elwood Caudill, Jr. in the midterm election
Will Wright, a reporter for the Lexington Herald-Leader notes that with 19 of 19 precincts reporting, Davis has only received 45.8% of the vote.
