The British parliament has rejected the proposed Brexit deal struck by Prime Minister Theresa May by a stunning margin.

The defeat of the deal May struck with European leaders was by the largest margin of the modern era.

May will now decide whether to resign or continue negotiations with Europe as the British leader while having little support from her party and the Parliment.

There are only 73 days until the UK is scheduled to leave the European Union.
