Fox host slams schools for teaching kids 'fairness' after poll shows taxing the rich is massively popular

Fox Business host Charles Payne on Tuesday slammed the American education system for teaching children the value of fairness on the grounds that it is making them more likely to support socialism.

During an interview with Fox News' Sandra Smith and Bill Hemmer, Payne reacted with horror to a new Fox News poll showing that 70 percent of Americans now support raising taxes on people who make over $10 million a year, while 65 percent back raising taxes on people who make more than $1 million a year.

"There seems to be a movement against capitalism in this country!" observed Smith, who then asked Payne for his input.

The Fox Business host wasted no time laying the blame at the feet of America's educators.

"The idea of 'fairness' has been promoted in our schools for a long time," he said. "And we're starting to see kids who grew up in this notion that 'fairness above all.' And now they're becoming voting age and bringing this ideology with them."

Payne has been raising the alarm about progressive tax plans lately, and late last month he attacked Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) for mocking Washington Redskins owner Daniel Snyder for spending $100 million on a first-of-its-kind Imax yacht.
