A female Politico reporter noted on Twitter Thursday than an Alaskan Republican congressman pushed her and cursed at her while she was interviewing a different lawmaker in the Capitol.

Reporter Melanie Zanona tweeted that Rep. Don Young (R-AK) "just physically shoved me and told me to get out of his way 'd*mnit' as I was trying to interview another lawmaker outside the door of the House chamber."

After Zanona posted about the incident, NBC News' Rebecca Shabad claimed Rep. Young once shoved her, too.

Daily Beast reporter Scott Bixby added that the Alaska Republican once "put a ten-inch knife to John Boehner’s throat during a debate about earmarks."

Later on Thursday, Zanona tweeted that Young called her to apologize and that she had accepted it.
