Firefighting expert explains why the Notre Dame fire is nearly impossible to stop

On Monday, the Notre Dame Cathedral, a historic monument in Paris, caught on fire. The cause of the fire is unknown, as of now, and no deaths have been reported.

President Donald Trump was ridiculed on Twitter after he suggested the fire be put out "quickly" by "flying water tankers."

However, Gregg Favre, a former captain with the St. Louis Fire Department, took to Twitter to explain in depth why the massive fire is difficult to put out.
