A man in Florida has been charged with drunk driving after he allegedly hit a cruiser while riding a lawnmower, according to WFLA.
Gary Wayne Anderson, 68, reportedly crashed into the vehicle while the officers were away.
When the officers returned, Anderson admitted hitting the cruiser. But he said it was because he was drunk and told police he had not damaged their car.
Anderson was taken to a hospital after claiming he had been poisoned by the officers.
Anderson provided a breathalyzer sample at the hospital, which determined his blood-alcohol content was .241. Anderson also had cocaine in his system, according to police.
The man then accused police of putting the cocaine in his system, "while directing profane language and racial slurs at the officer," police said.
