‘Lock him up’: Internet unleashes on Bill Barr for ‘joke’ about Pelosi arresting him

In a strange moment on Capitol Hill Wednesday, Attorney General Bill Barr asked Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) if she “had her handcuffs” with her when the two were in the same room for a law enforcement ceremony.

Pelosi’s answer to Barr was one that made him chuckle but the reality is that Barr may very well end up in the small jail cell in the U.S. Capitol if the Speaker decides to instruct the Sergeant of Arms to arrest him.

The vote to hold Barr in contempt of Congress is forthcoming and if the House passes the contempt charge, Pelosi could have Barr hauled into the basement.

Trump claims ‘great reviews’ for COVID-19 response — while complaining he ‘got no credit’

In a tweet fired off this Monday afternoon, President Trump painted a rosy picture of the response to his administration's handling of the coronavirus pandemic, saying he's received "great reviews" for his performance.

"Great reviews on our handling of Covid 19, sometimes referred to as the China Virus," Trump wrote. 'Ventilators, Testing, Medical Supply Distribution, we made a lot of Governors look very good - And got no credit for so doing. Most importantly, we helped a lot of great people!"
