As President Joe Biden today bowed to the growing chorus of elected Democrats and Democratic voters calling for him to exit the 2024 race, everyone is taking another good hard look at Kamala Harris.

“Today I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala Harris to be the nominee of our party this year, ” Biden wrote in a social media post, calling his selection of Harris to be his vice president “the best decision I’ve made.”

Donald Trump breaks silence on Joe Biden dropping from presidential race

Taking longer than usual, Donald Trump lashed out at President Joe Biden after the nation's chief executive announced he would not continue with his 2024 re-election campaign in a Sunday announcement on social media.

With pressure reportedly building on him from Democratic leaders, Biden announced his departure from the presidential race while promising to address the nation in the coming days.

As for Trump, he took to his Truth Social platform to hammer at the man who defeated him in 2020, writing, "Crooked Joe Biden was not fit to run for President, and is certainly not fit to serve - And never was!"

"We will suffer greatly because of his presidency, but we will remedy the damage he has done very quickly. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN," he added.
