Former Republican National Committee chair Michael Steele blasted Donald Trump daughter-in-law Lara Trump on Sunday morning over her plans for the RNC's cash if she is added as co-chair.

With her father-in-law endorsing her for the position, the wife of Eric Trump appeared on Newsmax and stated her priority would be to get Trump back in office no matter what it takes.

That set off Steele who abandoned the party due to the former president.

Lara Trump stated: "The RNC needs to be the cleanest, most lethal political fighting machine we've ever seen in American history. Every single penny will go to the number one and the only job of the RNC. That is electing Donald J. Trump as president of the United States and saving this country."

Then Steele went off.

"I will start by saying: wrong answer," he exclaimed. "That is not the number one responsibility of the RNC to elect Trump. The number one responsibility is to elect every candidate on the ballot on behalf of the party."

"It is to raise money for those candidates who are on the ballot," he continued. "It is to place the infrastructure every candidate will need."

In a video posted to social media Saturday, Tlaib said it's important to not just march against the "genocide" in Gaza but to form a voting bloc to affect change.
