Fox News host Maria Bartiromo, who has supported former President Donald Trump, told Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) he was losing the Republican presidential primary "because of the corruption."

During a Sunday interview on Fox News, Bartiromo told DeSantis he was about 30 points behind Trump in recent polls.

According to former Republican National Committee official Douglas Heye, Donald Trump could quickly wrap up the 2024 GOP presidential, nomination if he wins scores a decisive victory at the Iowa caucus in just over six months.

Noting ttiming, Heye made the prediction to the CNN "State of the Union" panel that he can't see any chance that Trump could be derailed if we walks away with an early victory.

Addressing host Jake Tapper, he first explained that Ithe caucus usually "culls the field" down to fewer candidates.

New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy (D), a critic of former President Donald Trump, was recently booed off stage at an event in his state.

During a performance at Red Rock Tap + Grill in Red Bank, singer Brian Kirk invited Murphy to the stage.

Following up on reporting that failed Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake's prospects of becoming Donald Trump's 2024 running mate are collapsing, the Daily Beast's Zachary Petrizzo is reporting that Lake is also causing the former president grief with his wife, Melania.

Speaking with the hosts of the Daily Beast's "The New Abnormal," Petrizzo pointed to an article in People Magazine that made the claim that Lake has been at Mar-a-Lago with Trump more than his wife and that is putting him an awkward position with Melania.

Former United States Congressman David Jolly (R-Florida) on Saturday tore into Florida First Lady Casey DeSantis for championing the right-wing culture wars that her husband, Governor Ron DeSantis, has exploited while he seeks the 2024 Republican presidential nomination.

"Casey DeSantis is a fairly compelling political figure in Florida and now nationally. For many, she's the brighter side to Florida's angry governor. For others, she's become America's Karen. And I think that's the ultimate disconnect here with a campaign that needs to embrace more constituencies to get to the White House," Jolly quipped to MSNBC's Saturday/Sunday Show host Jonathan Capehart.

Joni Ernst (R-IA) hanging by not only not showing up for her annual "Roast and Ride" charity event over a month ago — but he also cost her money.

Each year, the Iowa Republican hosts the fundraiser which attracts Republicans seeking a leg up with conservative voters in the key primary state.

Reviewing how the presidential nomination campaign of Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) has gone to date, a former GOP campaign consultant called out the Florida leader for his continuous whining about how he is being treated by the press.

Speaking with host Jonathan Capehart on "The Saturday Show," Lincoln Project senior adviser Tara Setmayer claimed the Florida governor's constant complaints about how he is portrayed are "embarrassing."

"Ron DeSantis is saying, one of the things he's blaming for his inability to close the polling gap with Donald Trump, is that it's the media's fault. We are covering his campaign so negatively. Is that the problem? Is it in the media or the candidate?" the MSNBC host prompted.

"The problem is the candidate," Setmayer immediately shot back. "I've never seen a bunch of whiners like this in my life."

A noted political scientist has cautioned House Republicans that attempts to impeach President Joe Biden will blow up in their faces and will severely damage their electoral prospects in the 2024 general election.

In an interview with the Guardian, Larry Sabato of the University of Virginia Center for Politics gave a blunt assessment of the odds of successfully impeaching the president, stating it has no chance of being successful and will instead turn off voters they need if they hope to reclaim the White House and the Senate next year.
