'This is radioactive': Iraq war veteran outraged over Trump's unprecedented 'escalation'

Donald Trump's latest comments represent "an escalation the likes of which we have not really seen," according to the founder and CEO of Independent Veterans of America.
Paul Rieckhoff appeared on MS NOW on Thursday, and the host asked him about a recent video in which Democrats informed military servicemembers of their constitutional duty to disobey any unlawful orders. That video led to Trump suggesting the Dem veterans responsible for the video should be put to death.
After saying he "was critical of the video because I felt like it wasn't clear what they wanted to do," Rieckhoff added, "But what Trump has done is taken it to a whole new level."
"I mean, he is amplifying and just it's bonkers. I mean, to call this sedition, to call for their death is an escalation, the likes of which we have not really seen. And especially coming out of a time where everybody said, let's take the tone down after Charlie Kirk," he said. "This is putting a bullseye on the backs of sitting members of congress who are veterans, who are former intelligence officials."
The analyst then added, "It is very, very dangerous," and then said, "It's all bad. But this is this is radioactive. And this is potentially inciting violence."
