As the Justice Department continues its phased rollout of releasing Jeffrey Epstein files – a rollout critics say is in blatant violation of the Epstein Files Transparency Act (EFTA) – Rep. “Every member of the [House] Judiciary Committee – every Republican, every Democrat – voted to release these documents and to have them in our hands yesterday,” Swalwell said during an appearance Sunday on MS NOW. “Not today, not tomorrow, yesterday. They have not done that yet.”

Lawyer calls DOJ out on major Epstein contradiction that hasn’t ‘gotten enough attention’

Ankush Khardori, lawyer and senior writer for Politico, called out the Justice Department Saturday for a major contradiction regarding Jeffrey Epstein, and one that he said hadn’t “gotten enough attention.”

While the DOJ is now releasing its Epstein files in a phased rollout – which it’s compelled to by law – last summer, the agency attempted to shut down further investigations into the disgraced financier, claiming to have reviewed all related files, according to a DOJ memo that leaked in June.

As the Trump administration faces growing scrutiny over its failure to release files on Jeffrey Epstein with limited redactions – as it's required to by law – former federal prosecutor Kristy Greenberg charted a path Saturday for Democratic lawmakers to force the administration’s hand.

Trump’s Justice Department was hammered last week after failing to comply with the newly enacted Epstein Files Transparency Act, a bill that required the DOJ to release all of its files on Epstein by Dec. 19, and with redactions limited to protecting the identities of victims and minors.

Trump's inability to 'stay on message' is raising new Epstein questions: journalist

Donald Trump’s Truth Social outburst on Friday, where he flipped out over reports that there are one million more Jeffrey Epstein documents that the Department of Justice needs to review and release, is another example of the president’s wild mood swings, making it difficult for the White House to take the focus off of him.

That is according to conservative David Drucker, who appeared on MS NOW’s “The Weekend,” and claimed Trump has gone from being sympathetic about others being swept up in the focus on the documentation on the convicted sex trafficker and snarling that he is caught up in it.
