Trump may have put admin 'in a box' with recent comments: CNN analyst

President Donald Trump may have put his administration "in a box" over the strikes against alleged drug boats in international waters, according to one CNN analyst.

The administration has conducted more than 20 strikes against alleged drug dealers and killed about 100 people in those operations, according to reports. Trump has argued that the strikes are a matter of national security, although experts say his administration has provided scant evidence to support that claim.

Republicans obey Trump because they fear 'physical violence' — from MAGA fans: law expert

Republicans are obeying President Donald Trump not simply out of loyalty, but out of fears that his supporters will resort to violence against them, election law strategist and Democracy Docket founder Marc Elias told MS NOW's Nicolle Wallace on "Deadline: White House" on Tuesday.

This comes as Indiana state lawmakers advance an extreme mid-decade gerrymander that deletes every Democratic district in the state at Trump's direction, despite a large number of GOP state senators vowing to vote against it — and facing terroristic threats.

Republicans suddenly care about US airstrike massacres — but only Obama’s

Republicans on Tuesday invoked drone strikes during then-President Barack Obama’s tenure in a dubious effort to justify what experts say is the Trump administration’s illegal boat bombing campaign against alleged drug traffickers, while falsely claiming that Democrats and the media ignored airstrikes ordered by the former president.

US House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) was asked during a Tuesday press conference about a so-called “double-tap” airstrike—military parlance for follow-up strikes on survivors and first responders after initial bombings—that killed two men who survived a Sept. 2 attack on a boat in the southern Caribbean Sea.

'Striking': CNN's Kaitlan Collins floored by Pete Hegseth's 'telling' boat killing remark

CNN anchor and chief White House correspondent Kaitlan Collins was taken aback Tuesday by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth's "telling" remark on his boat strikes during a cabinet meeting with President Donald Trump.

"I think what was most striking to me is what Jim [Sciutto] was just referencing there, which was the comment by Secretary Hegseth when he was directly asked if he was aware that there were survivors after that first initial strike happened during this boat strike that happened on Sept. 2, the one that has generated so much controversy here in Washington and even has Republicans on Capitol Hill now demanding answers about how this went down," Collins said.
