'His pronouns are me, me, me': George Conway blasts Trump's abuse of power

Conservative lawyer George Conway had a lot to say about President Donald Trump's abuses of power since he's been in office for a second time, and the people who have enabled that behavior.

Conway made the comments after the Supreme Court issued a spate of rulings that can be used to dramatically expand the executive powers of the presidency. Meanwhile, Trump seems eager to wrestle the power to wage war and to control Congressional spending from Congress, both of which are delegated by the Constitution. MSNBC host Michael Steele pointed out on Monday that there appear to be few people standing in Trump's way as well.

Republicans forced to ‘follow the lemmings off the cliff’ for Trump: expert

This week, the Republican-controlled U.S. Senate will vote on its version of H.R. 1 — President Donald Trump's "One Big Beautiful Bill Act" — which extends tax cuts primarily benefiting the richest Americans and pays for it by drastically slashing social safety nets for the poorest Americans. One anti-Trump conservative is not optimistic that Republicans will buck the president, despite how much the bill may harm their constituents.

During a Monday segment on MSNBC's "Deadline: White House," commentator Charlie Sykes listed three reasons he believes Republicans will ultimately vote in favor of the bill's passage: "They're afraid of Donald Trump, they're afraid of failure and they're afraid of Donald Trump." According to Sykes, Trump making the bill "the cornerstone of his agenda" means Republicans know they have no choice but to vote to pass it or else risk Trump's wrath.

‘Stunning incoherence’: Fox host mocked for spinning major Trump flip-flop

Fox News host Maria Bartiromo is facing criticism for calling President Donald Trump’s latest reversal on undocumented immigrant workers “big news,” after the President floated creating “temporary passes.”

Earlier this month, Trump announced ICE would back off from detaining and deporting undocumented immigrants working on farms and in hotels, only to announce just days later an apparent reversal to that policy, by declaring he would enact “the single largest Mass Deportation Program in History.”

'Disgusting!' Trump's border czar rages after judge hands Trump court loss

Federal judges have found a way to get under the skin of Tom Homan, President Donald Trump's "border czar." And it involves protecting the rights of migrants that Homan wants to deport.

On Monday, U.S. Magistrate Judge Barbara Holmes agreed to keep Kilmar Abrego Garcia in federal custody until at least mid-July over fears that he could be deported again. Abrego Garcia was deported to the infamous Salvadoran prison CECOT in March, even though an immigration judge granted him the legal right to remain in the United States in 2019 because of a well-founded fear of persecution if he returned to El Salvador.

CNN's Clare Duffy reported Monday that the tech developer "wants it to be an early-warning system about the location of Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers. He says he does not want people interfering with those officers' activity, but he does want people to avoid them altogether, if they want."
