Beyonce is never one to shy away from controversy, but her song "Formation" called out police brutality, pleaded with law enforcement to "" and created an epic artistic video and album.

It was no shock she received the VMA for "Formation," but along with fans and her team, Beyonce also dedicated her award to the people of New Orleans.
