Blubbering neo-Nazi Christopher Cantwell reveals from hiding that his attorney ditched him

Charlottesville pro-Nazi marcher and racist provocateur Christopher Cantwell said on Wednesday that he is in hiding and working with a new attorney after his first attorney dropped him in his ongoing dance with Charlottesville, VA police over warrants for his arrest.

On Wednesday, Cantwell posted to his blog that he has left the state of Virginia, "but stayed nearby to monitor the situation and make turning myself in easier when the time came."

Cantwell was filmed by a team from Vice News led by reporter Elle Reeve during the violence in Charlottesville on the weekend that 32-year-old Heather Heyer was killed. He showed off his arsenal of handguns and semi-automatic weapons and talked about his willingness to do violence in order to forward the doctrine of white supremacy.

Days later, he posted a video of himself sniveling and fighting back tears as he asked for "guidance" about a rumor he'd heard that a warrant had been served in Charlottesville for his arrest.

"I contacted an attorney, but he dropped my case right around the time I read in the Boston Globe that I had two felony charges (one of which is a class 3) for what I presumed was pepper spraying a guy in a brawl at UVA (which the reds started)," he complained, still attempting to shift blame away from himself.

Cantwell said that he has since found "a suitable attorney" but "I got an email from the New York Times saying I had four warrants out for my arrest."

He accused Virginia state officials of being "corrupt" and said, "I doubt both their trustworthiness and their sanity" and said the same about media organizations. His lawyer, he said, told him that he is "due all the privileges and immunities of a citizen until I was 'served' with a warrant, so I don’t believe I am committing any crime by waiting for more information before I return home or to Virginia. So that is what I am doing right now."

He went on to say that he is in fear for his life and will therefore remain in hiding for the foreseeable future.

However, since literally millions of people want to kill me right now, I am keeping a low profile. The phone number widely publicized for me has been so filled up with death threats, that I can no longer sort through all the hate and violence to find worthwhile messages. My attorney has my email address, and he can contact me if the authorities want to relay any information to me. I have no interest in violence or lawbreaking, so if they are interested in speaking with me, I hope they will communicate with him instead of harassing innocent people or wasting taxpayer resources.
