Boston UPS driver rescues kittens as 'bomb cyclone' bears down on northeast

As the northeastern United States hunkered down for a nor'easter and "bomb cyclone," UPS drivers continued to deliver packages. But one Boston driver went the extra mile for some freezing felines.

The driver was out making deliveries when he saw two small kittens clawing at a door trying to get away from the cold, WYFF4 reported.

According to the Animal Rescue League of Boston, the driver brought the two 5-week-old kittens to their Dedham facility. They were dehydrated, cold and hungry. They're both currently being treated for an upper respiratory infection but on the mend.

The ARL has named them Lou Lou and Ladybug. The kittens will spend a few weeks in foster care as they heal and put on weight before being made available for adoption.
