Democrat who triumphed over racist attacks mocks critics in Congressional office: ‘Ain’t no stopping me’

During the 2018 midterm elections, Republicans smeared Rhodes Scholar candidate Antonio Delgado for not being "like us" because he had once released a rap album.

Campaign ads paid for by the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) portrayed Delgado as a street thug.

Despite the smears of the Harvard Law graduate, Delgado prevailed over incumbent Rep. John Faso (R-NY) in the November election.

Delgado is having the last laugh, displaying one of his rap lyrics in his Capitol Hill office, the New York Post on Monday.

“All the pain and the poverty. Hypocrisy fuels my truth. Ain’t no stopping me. #oneofus,” the framed sign reads.
