People were mocking President Donald Trump's bizarre attack on his longtime foe Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker (D) on Saturday.
Trump took to his Truth Social platform and posted an exaggerated illustration of Pritzker eating a smorgasbord, with a cheeseburger in one hand and a pizza slice in another, surrounded by a giant nacho plate, large milkshake, bucket of fried chicken, spaghetti and meatball plate — and more — with the caption "JB is too busy to keep Chicago safe!"
The move came just days after a Politico report featured Pritzker responding to Trump's second term in office and the Democrats' 2024 election loss, saying "We want to move on from losing, especially because look at the damage that’s been done to the country as a result of Donald Trump taking office."
In the interview, Pritzker also suggested Trump could be facing health problems.
"I think the man has dementia, I don’t really understand how it works up there for him, but I can tell you that he doesn’t seem to like me. He mentions me very often and sometimes, completely out of the blue," Pritzker added.
The internet slammed Trump's attempt to criticize the top Democrat.
"Classy stuff from the president," journalist Aaron Rupar wrote on Bluesky.
"So what he's saying is JB Pritzker is a great hang," Daily Kos editor Kassidy Tarala Burns wrote on Bluesky.
"Isn't Trump in worse shape these days than JB Pritzker?" political commentator Noah Gilbert wrote on X.
"And he's such a fine physical specimen himself," Janice Hough, a self-described "proud Democrat," wrote on X.
"Trump is in much worse shape than Pritzker!" Retired nurse and Army parachute rigger Paula Mercado wrote on X.
