Donald Trump Jr. lashes out at Bannon: Now even your readers hate you

On Wednesday, all hell broke loose when former chief White House strategist Steve Bannon's bombshell quotes in Michael Wolff's Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House began to circulate.

Bannon said that federal investigators will "crack Don Jr. like an egg" for his "treasonous" meeting with Russian intelligence operatives at Trump Tower.

Bannon also said that it's highly likely that Trump Jr. introduced the Russians who attended the June meeting to his father.

"The chance that Don Jr. did not walk these jumos up to his father’s office on the twenty-sixth floor is zero," said Bannon to Wolff.

Donald Trump Jr. fired back, saying that he'd looked at the comments at Breitbart.com and was stunned to see the extent to which the readers were bashing Bannon, who returned to helm the website after his firing from the White House.

He also hit Bannon for the Roy Moore loss in Alabama.

Among other explosive revelations from Bannon's book include rumors that the Trump team never intended to win the presidency and that First Lady Melania Trump cried and quarreled with her husband on Inauguration Day. Also, aide Sam Nunberg said that he struggled to explain the U.S. Constitution to Trump, but that he gave up after the Fourth Amendment because Trump's eyes were "rolling back in his head" from boredom.
