Kimberly Guilfoyle, the one-time fiancée of Donald Trump Jr., is getting a noticeable lack of support from the women of the Trump family after her ouster as ambassador to Greece, according to the Daily Mail.
The Mail reported that Trump Jr.’s sister Ivanka was never a big fan, while his half-sister Tiffany kept her distance. None of the Trump women have commented publicly on Guilfoyle’s turmoil, the Mail said.
Guilfoyle, 57, stepped down as ambassador after the White House asked her to resign amid allegations of improper conduct that she has denied. Some in the Trump family have not been sympathetic, insiders told the Mail.
“Not everyone is shedding tears,” one source said.
“They’ve all known Kimberly for years but that doesn’t mean they all feel the same way about her,” an insider told the paper. “Ivanka has never been Kimberly’s biggest fan, Tiffany is largely indifferent and Lara genuinely feels bad for her.”
Another source claimed that “Ivanka and Kimberly were never particularly warm toward each other,” adding that “while they could be perfectly cordial in public, that doesn’t mean there was a friendship behind the scenes.”
Of Tiffany, a source said: “Tiffany doesn’t have strong feelings about Kimberly one way or the other,” adding, “They spent time together at family events, but they weren’t especially close. Tiffany wishes her well and is happy to stay out of it.”
Melania Trump, according to observers cited by the Mail, didn’t give Guilfoyle much time of day when she was with Trump Jr., and isn’t expected to now.
As for Don Jr.’s wife, Bettina Anderson, “Kimberly simply isn’t someone Bettina spends any time thinking about,” one source said.
The Mail noted that rumors of tension began while Guilfoyle was still with Don Jr. In 2022, Ivanka cropped Guilfoyle out of a photograph of the Trump women at Tiffany’s Mar-a-Lago wedding. Sources close to Ivanka insisted at the time that it was a mistake rather than a deliberate snub, and she later shared the uncropped photo.
The president also distanced himself. Asked by reporters about Guilfoyle on the day of her resignation, Donald Trump said: “No, she wasn’t a member of my family. She, I guess, dated my son a long time ago.”
The Mail reported that Guilfoyle, who spent years at family weddings, holidays and campaign events, is said to be devastated by the rejection.
“In the Trump family, there’s a world of difference between being invited to the family table for a while and actually having a permanent seat,” the insider said. “Being the girlfriend doesn’t give you the same place in the family.”
