‘He’s drunk tweeting again’: Internet ridicules Giuliani for bizarre late night tweet about the ‘Salem Witch Hunts’

Former New York City Mayor Rudi Giuliani reached out to practitioners of witchcraft Wednesday night, but did not offer an apology.

Giuliani, in his role as defense attorney for President Donald Trump, has repeatedly accused special counsel Robert Mueller for running a "witch hunt" -- despite convictions of Trump's campaign chairman, deputy campaign chairman, longtime lawyer and National Security Advisor.

After 11 p.m. in New York, Giuliani worried that his cable TV spin may have offended witches.

"According to CNN witches favor Democrats and they are offended that the Meuller [sic] investigation is described as a Witch Hunt," Giuliani claimed.

"There is no reason for the witches to be offended because Witch Hunt derives from, for example, the Salem Witch Hunts where people were executed unjustly," he added.
