Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) delivered a blunt and profane response after a right-wing reporter tried to press her on her Democratic colleagues’ trips to El Salvador – and she’s not backing down.
The moment unfolded on Capitol Hill when Myles Morell, a journalist with the conservative news outlet The Daily Caller, approached Omar with a question about Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the Maryland father wrongfully deported to El Salvador.
“Do you think more of your Democratic colleagues should be traveling to El Salvador to advocate on behalf of Abrego Garcia?” Morell asked Omar as she walked alongside her team, as reported by the Daily Beast.
The Minnesota lawmaker didn’t hold back.
“I think you should f--- off,” Omar said as she brushed past the reporter.
“I’m sorry, what, congresswoman? Who should?” Morell responded.

“You,” she said firmly.
Video of the Thursday exchange quickly spread over social media, with many in the MAGA world calling out Omar’s hostile style. Morell later posted his own video on X where he called the Democrat “very unprofessional, very rude.”
“Especially when I was just a journalist who's trying to do his job,” he added of Omar’s reaction.
But Omar didn't offer any apology.
“I said what I said,” she wrote in a reply post to MAGA influencer Libs of TikTok. “You and all your miserable trolls can f--- off.”
