Ivanka Trump wants Rudy Giuliani booted from the legal team: report

President Donald Trump's lawyer Rudy Giuliani has had an embarrassing week as he continues to have contradicting interviews. In his latest interview with The New Yorker, Giuliani said that he listened to tapes that revealed details into special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation on whether Trump worked with Russia during the 2016 election.

Trump who cares immensely about media coverage is "furious" about the way his lawyer is being portrayed in the news, two Republicans told Vanity Fair.

Giuliani has apparently gotten himself in trouble and Trump is beginning to think about his future. President Trump's daughter, Ivanka Trump, wants Giuliani booted.

"According to sources, a debate is playing out inside the West Wing over Giuliani’s future. Trump is being encouraged by several people, including Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, to dump Giuliani before it’s too late" Vanity Fair reported.

Adding, "Outside advisers Corey Lewandowski and Dave Bossie are lobbying Trump to keep Giuliani."

According to a friend close to Giuliani, he loves the media attention he is receiving. However, with the new political landscape, he is unable to figure out how to get the press to work for him.

“This has been a trial by fire for him,” the friend said. “He can’t just say whatever he wants, because he’s being fact-checked on Twitter. Every time he does anything he gets caught.”
