Jenna Ellis' plea is piling 'pressure on Rudy Giuliani to flip': Legal expert
Former Donald Trump lawyer Jenna Ellis made a plea deal with Fulton County, Georgia, on Tuesday – leading to questions about who is next.
Lawfare's Anna Bower pointed out the agreement includes five years of probation, community service, a public apology and the pledge that she will name names and testify for the prosecution. Among the people already mentioned by her is Rudy Giuliani.
"Now you not only have Kenneth Chesebro, Sidney Powell, two top Trump lawyers, but now Jenna Ellis, top Trump lawyer, and top Trump campaign lawyer. And how does it affect Donald Trump?" asked legal analyst Katie Phang on MSNBC. "Donald Trump can't sit pretty for very long."

Phang cited that Ellis implicated Giuliani and Ray Smith, an attorney who represent Trump in Georgia cases related to the 2020 election.
"Rudy Giuliani has a flipped co-defendant in Fulton County that has implicated him and you and I know that any of that proffer given, that recorded statement given to D.A. Fani Willis, had to have value for them to give her a probation offer for this particular charge," Phang continued.
"Now, Rudy Giuliani is getting more pressure. And that, in turn, is going to lead to more pressure on Rudy Giuliani to flip against Donald Trump."
She said Ellis is the one who has been complaining the loudest since being indicted, specifically saying that she felt like she was left out in the cold by Trump's camp and that he wasn't paying her attorneys' fees while he was helping other co-defendants.
Giuliani is dealing with the same problem. He is being forced to sell his Manhattan condo, his rings from the World Series, and other items in an effort to pay his lawyers. Some members of his legal team have already abandoned him, and one is suing for unpaid bills.
"She decided I'm going to cut my losses now," Phang explained in the video below.
Another legal analyst, Bradley Moss, compared Ellis and other Trump lawyers to jilted lovers in a Taylor Swift song, and wrote his own version of a tune which can be seen below the video.
