Judge blasts Roger Stone in new filing for potential gag order violation

Roger Stone may be in trouble again with a federal judge.

In a court order released Friday, U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson scolded Stone and his lawyers for not revealing to her that Stone has a book scheduled for "imminent general release” that may violate the imposed gag order she has on Stone talking about the Mueller case, Bloombergreports.

Just over a week ago, Jackson blasted Stone for violating a gag order when he posted a violent-looking picture of her next to crosshairs on Instagram and some said Stone was lucky she didn't jail him at the time (Stone and his lawyers were all apologies at the hearing that day).

Now, Stone must explain to an angry judge by March 4 “why this matter -- which was known to the defendant -- was not brought to the court’s attention” during the last hearing regarding the potential violation of the media gag order, Jackson said in her Friday filing, according to Bloomberg.

"Jackson’s order follows the filing of a sealed motion by Stone’s attorneys that refers to the release of a book, according to the judge," Bloomberg noted.
