Kash Patel’s claim that he knows nothing about Stew Peters, a conspiracy theorist who has promoted anti-semitic beliefs, was flatly rejected by the far-right host, whose show the FBI director nominee has appeared on multiple times.
"Clearly, Kash Patel is lying. He absolutely does know who I am,” Peters said Thursday on his show, “The Stew Peters Show.”
Peters, who has been labeled as an extremist by the Anti-Defamation League, was reacting to an earlier moment on Capitol Hill when Patel was being grilled by Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) before the Senate Judiciary Committee.
“Are you familiar with Stew Peters?” Durbin asked.
“Not off the top of my head,” Patel answered.

Durbin next reminded Patel that he’s “made eight separate appearances on his podcast – a point Peters expanded on during his show.
“He’s very familiar on a lot of different levels,” Peters said. “And I’m not going to get into that right now because this guy’s going through a Senate confirmation hearing so I’m not going to get into too many personal specifics at this point but that’s flagrantly false what he said there.”
Patel defended his “association as you loosely define it” to Durbin by saying he’s appeared “on media over 1,000 times.”
