Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) submitted a campaign filing with an embarrassing mistake.
The Republican lawmaker's campaign turned in a report Thursday night to the Federal Election Commission that lists Utah as the state she represents, and not Colorado, reported Forbes.
"Thanks for reaching out," said campaign spokesman Jake Settle, when asked about the revision. "I flagged this for our team!"Boebert's home state was correctly listed as Colorado on her campaign's original third-quarter report, which was filed Oct. 15, but her campaign amended the filing to show she represents Colorado's third congressional district, and not Utah's.
