'Lord I need your help!': Michelle Duggar has meltdown

The Duggar family continues to reel from the fallout from son Josh's molestation scandal, asking for donations to fill the income gap left when TLC cancelled 19 Kids and Counting.

According to In Touch, which broke the that led to a flood of advertisers abandoning the popular Christian family show, the mother of nineteen wrote some time back that she had been crying and dropping off to sleep from exhaustion prior to the sexual molestation scandal.

"It was 1:00 AM in the morning as I stood folding laundry with tears streaming down my cheeks," Duggar wrote. "Feelings of being overwhelmed flooded my mind. I cried aloud, 'LORD I NEED YOUR HELP, I can't do it all! I feel so inadequate! Diapers, dishes, laundry, meals, cleanup, school lessons, baths, hugs, kisses, correction...' My list seemed to go on and on."

Saying God spoke to her, she continued, "Then it was as if a still small voice said, 'Michelle, it's easy to praise ME when things are going good, but are you willing to praise ME now?' Immediately the scripture that says, 'Offer up a sacrifice of praise', came to mind. I said, 'OK Lord, I will praise you even now! It really is a sacrifice!' So through the tears I began to sing, 'The joy of the Lord is my strength,' my heart there was a release as if a burden had been lifted. I finished the laundry at 2 AM and went to bed."

The Duggar family's troubles grew even bigger after their reality TV show was canceled.

According to Radar Online, the Duggar family lost over $25 million in income when TLC pulled the plug on their show after it was revealed that the family covered up a series of molestations by eldest son Josh  who admitted that he his pre-teen sisters.

A pair of high profile interviews on Fox News failed to stem the tide of criticism of the family, and may have exacerbated it, leading to the show's cancellation.

Since the show cancellation, several Duggar members have taken to the internet to make appeals for donations, with the Duggar sons selling "Duggar Studios" t-shirts, recently reduced to $15.

In July, one of Josh Duggar's victims reportedly filed a civil suit against the now unemployed former lobbyist for the Family Research Council.
