N-word spewing North Carolina man arrested after year of harassing neighbors: report

A North Carolina man has been arrested and charged with a hate crime after he harassed his Mexican neighbors and Black motorists for over a year, WBTV reported.

Marian Hudak was arrested by the FBI this Thursday and indicted on two charges related to intimidating people based on their race.

In one incident, Hudak encountered a Black man while driving. “As they drove next to each other, Hudak yelled ‘n------’ ‘come here boy,’ and things about Trump,” prosecutors said. Hudak then blocked the man's path, got out of his car and banged on the man’s window and then followed the man to his apartment complex and blocked the only entrance to the parking lot.

Prosecutors also showed a picture of Hudak’s truck parked at the entrance of the parking lot with multiple flags mounted in the truck bed, including a Confederate flag.

“Throughout the encounter, [witnesses] reported that Hudak yelled slurs and threats, including statements like ‘I will kill you n-----,’ and, ‘I will shoot that Black b----. I know where you live, and I will be back,’” prosecutors said, adding that he pointed a gun at multiple people.

In a 2021 incident, Hudak yelled at his neighbors, saying “you f------ Mexican alcoholics” and “go back to your country.”

“Hudak said things like, ‘f------ Mexican,’ ‘when I see you again, I am going to run you off the road,’ and ‘I’m going to kill you,’” prosecutors said.
