Mark Hamill gives perfect response to Ted Cruz's patronizing net neutrality tweet

Actor Mark Hamill wasn't taking any guff from Texas Sen. Ted Cruz on Sunday when Cruz tut-tutted Hamill's jab at FCC chairman Ajit Pai.

When Hamill told Pai -- who was instrumental in rescinding net neutrality rules put in place by the Obama administration -- that he's not worthy to use a Jedi Knight's light-saber, Cruz said, "Luke, I know Hollywood can be confusing, but it was Vader who supported govt power over everything said & done on the Internet. That's why giant corps (Google, Facebook, Netflix) supported the FCC power grab of net neutrality. Reject the dark side: Free the net!"

Hamill upbraided Cruz for misspelling his name and said maybe the senator is too busy with other pursuits to pay attention, writing, "Thanks for smarm-spaining it to me @tedcruz I know politics can be confusing, but you'd have more credibility if you spelled my name correctly. I mean IT'S RIGHT THERE IN FRONT OF YOU! Maybe you're just distracted from watching porn at the office again."

Hamill was referring to an incident last year in which Cruz's Twitter account "liked" a pornographic video, an error that Cruz blamed on a staffer.
