Radio host warns Election Day 2018 will be 'Judgment Day' for Republicans

SiriusXM radio analyst -- and proud Muslim-American -- Dean Obeidallah told Washington Post columnist Jonathan Capehart that the coming "blue wave" of Democratic victories going to be "Judgment Day" for the Republican Party.

Obeidallah said that the momentum has been building since the day President Donald Trump was elected, from the Women's March to the #MeToo movement to Democratic victories in Virginia and Alabama.

"A year ago at this time, so many of us were despondent, we were fearful," Obeidallah said. "We had a man who won the White House by trafficking in hate and bigotry and demonizing my community directly."

However, diverse coalitions have pulled together to make sure "no community is going to be left behind when Donald Trump attacks you, LGBTQ, Muslim, African-American, Latino."

"I think this momentum is building," said Obeidallah. "The big blue wave. I keep saying that Nov. 6, 2018 is not Election Day for our country, it's Judgment Day and we're going to come out and we're going to take our country back."
