A Muslim-hating viral video star explained her loathing for Monster Energy drink to comedian Tosh.0.
Conservative Christian activist Christine Weick, who uses a numerology-based system to argue the popular energy drink is the work of Satan, appeared Tuesday on the Comedy Central program.
She offered an acronym to criticize the host and his program.
“Tosh: Taking others straight to hell,” Weick said, and Tosh.0 protested that other programs, such as “South Park,” were “way worse.”
“You’re right in with that, you’re still in the same genre,” she said, mispronouncing the last word.
Weick told the comedian that Christians, if they wished to consume an energy drink, should choose Mountain Dew.
“There was a spiritual agenda here,” she said. “It goes right back to the Bible. It’s not flesh and blood we war against. It’s the principalities of the air, and if you’re not familiar with that, those are demons.”
Tosh.0 complimented her delivery and presentation in the widely shared video on Monster Energy drinks, and Weick showed no humility.
“God gave me that gift to be able to present it in a way that was perfect,” she said. “And then He said, ‘And now is the time that you’re going to go viral.’”
Weick explained why she goes to events to deliver her presentation on the evils of energy drinks.
“My biggest fear is that I speak to someone and I do not share the gospel with them, and they go to hell for it,” she said.
