Pam Bondi lashes out at Anderson Cooper — who forced her to own up to years of anti-LGBT action

After CNN's Anderson Cooper humiliated Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi on national television, she is speaking out.

While the interview aired live on CNN, Bondi claims that it was deceptively edited so Cooper could “encourage anger and hate.”

In an interview with New York’s WOR 710 radio Wednesday, Bondi said she was led to believe the interview would focus on donation scams for the victims and their families. Instead, Cooper questioned Bondi on her hypocritical embrace of the LGBT community after fighting against them for years.

Bondi’s office argued in 2014 that forcing Florida to recognize same-sex marriages from other states would “impose significant public harm.” She made it a key component of her reelection campaign as well.

"Anderson, I don't believe gay people could do harm to the state of Florida," Bondi explained to Cooper.

“There’s a time and place for everything,” she said Wednesday in her interview. “But yesterday wasn’t the time nor the place in front of a hospital when we could have been helping victims.”

Bondi complained the clip posted online didn't include anything about the fraudulent donation scams and that CNN should post the entire video or remove it entirely.

Bondi also got caught in a lie where she claimed to Cooper that the Attorney General's page has "hands clasped together, all different-colored, rainbow-hands people."
