Rupert Murdoch pushes exception for 'proven Christian' refugees -- and Twitter quickly hammers him

21st Century Fox CEO Rupert Murdoch was roundly criticized on Monday after suggesting that, instead of barring all Syrian refugees, that one faith be granted preferential treatment.

"Obama facing enormous opposition in accepting refugees," he wrote. "Maybe make special exception for proven Christians."
