President Donald Trump is using "gangster tactics" to intimidate his former personal lawyer Michael Cohen. On Wednesday, Cohen announced that he was postponing his Congressional testimony amid threats made to his family reportedly by the president.
During CNN's Wolf Blitzer's Wednesday show, legal analyst Jeffery Toobin called the move "outrageous."
"It's so outrageous. It is so disgraceful," Toobin told Wolf. "Whether it's an actual crime, I don't know. It's certainly part of a grand jury investigation for obstruction of justice. But it is outrageously wrong."
He then said that Trump was using "gangster tactics."
CNN's Dana Bash said that Trump and his lawyer Rudy Giuliani's intimidation tactics actually worked since Cohen postponed his testimony.
"It was intimidation. The thing to keep in mind is, it worked. It worked. Michael Cohen says he doesn't want to testify because of that intimidation. That's what's so remarkable about this," Bash said.
"It's Donald Trump 101. This is outrageous. I don't think it's over yet," CNN special correspondent Jamie Gangel said.
