The internet erupted on Wednesday after President Donald Trump made an unusual statement amid the ongoing U.S.-Israeli war in Iran and the current ceasefire.
He wrote the following on his Truth Social platform: "'YOU CAN’T COMPROMISE ON SANITY AND COMMON SENSE!'"
The context of the statement remains unclear.
Social media users were quick to point out the absurdity and question Trump's moves.

"So when will USA stop compromising?" Neel Shah, founder of Proof of Skill, wrote on X.
"This is rich coming from the most bats--- crazy president of all-time," user Mason, an Iraq veteran and political commentator, wrote on X.
"Is he speaking about himself or Iran?" Political critic Sebastian Noto wrote on X.
