Trump biographer: Donald Trump has been involved with 'mob guys' his entire life

President Donald Trump biographer, David Cay Johnston, said that the president has a history of working with "mob guys" during a Wednesday interview with CNN host Erin Burnett.

Rep. Adam Schiff’s (D-CA) has said that investigations into Trump's finance will proceed and that Congress would not be bullied by the president. Trump responded by calling the investigations "presidential harassment."

"Investigators in New York have been aware of Donald Trump and have been looking at him for decades. You've obviously investigated him as well. Is there anything they will find now that they didn't find before?" Burnett asked.

"They weren't really looking before. I mean, as I point out in my biography, Donald Trump was involved up to his eyeballs with a major international cocaine trafficker and did things that made no sense. Donald has been involved with mob guys, tax cheating his entire life. Donald has beaten four grand juries in the past, though. He is very good at getting around law enforcement."
