President Donald Trump’s first major address of his second term got off to a rowdy start Tuesday as House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) ordered the removal of Rep. Al Green (D-TX) while Republicans burst out singing, “Hey, hey, hey, goodbye.”
The moment happened within the first five minutes of Trump’s joint address to Congress when the president said “Small business optimism” saw a “41 point jump.”
That’s when Johnson banged his speaker’s gavel and ordered members to “maintain decorum in the House and to cease any further disruptions.”
“That’s your warning," the speaker said.
But Johnson couldn't tamp things down.
“Members are engaging in willing and continuing breach of decorum, and the chair is prepared to direct the Sergeant at Arms to restore order to the joint session," he continued.

Cheers erupted in the majority Republican House Chamber — but the episode wasn’t finished just yet.
“Mr. Green, take your seat, take your seat sir,” Johnson commanded. He then ordered the Democratic lawmaker to be removed.
“The chair now directs the Sergeant at Arms to restore order. Remove this gentleman from the chamber!" he declared.
As Green was removed, he shouted out, "He has no mandate,” while Republicans began singing, “Hey hey hey goodbye” in reference to the 1969 song “Na Na Na Na Hey Hey-ey Goodbye” by Steam.
