Trump is 'spinning out of control' so much he can't even govern: Republican strategist

Republican strategist Susan Del Percio said that President Donald Trump is "constantly spinning out of control" while trying to hold the United States together.

During a Monday MSNBC panel discussion, the Republican advisor explained that innocent people don't generally freak out like the president did this weekend. And that secure people don't generally attack others so personally, particularly after they're dead.

"What is just so scary is that in some ways he is also so transparent," she said. "What is he concerned about? Why does he go after people? There was a tragedy in New Zealand and everyone talked about the prime minister's leadership and he knows he doesn't have any."

Over the weekend, New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern was heralded for her compassion and strength in the face of the horrific tragedy that left more than 50 people dead.

"I mean when he is looking in, he is looking to overcompensate, he is projecting," she continued. "He is seeing leadership by a woman doing an amazing job healing her country and all he is known for doing is dividing the country. So it stands out. He makes his comments -- I don't know if he knows it's not the right thing but he doubles down on it. Then he just goes into a twist. It is the same thing about McCain. McCain is a hero and he went to Vietnam, he suffered in the camps, Donald Trump got out of Vietnam and is a coward because of bone spurs."

MSNBC host Katy Tur wondered if it's still a story that Trump isn't presidential and says crazy irrational things. The panel agreed it was because it isn't a normal thing to come from a president and never should be.
