Fox News apparently ignored warnings about President Donald Trump's fury at the network as it booked a progressive candidate for a series of interviews, drawing mockery, according to a new report.

Over the last week, Fox News interviewed progressive Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed, whom Trump has described at rallies as a "communist." Trump has also taken shots at Fox News both at rallies and on his Truth Social platform over the interviews.

"Fox is promoting the Dumocrats (sic), not the Republicans and MAGA. They have totally lost their way!" Trump wrote on Truth Social. ...

President Donald Trump was advised by Tina Peters, a convicted former Colorado election clerk, to seize ballots nationwide, according to her attorney, who says Trump won't "relinquish control again."

Kyle Clark, an anchor at Denver's 9NEWS, reported Thursday that Peters met with Trump at the White House on Monday, citing former Justice Department official Ed Martin.

Clark said Peters' attorney, Peter Ticktin, "hinted at the potential for civil war" in an interview last week with Colorado podcaster Joe Oltmann....

Trump fired off a post on Truth Social on Tuesday, complaining that Fox is giving too much airtime to Democrats. “FoxNews spends more time covering the Jihadist and Dumocrat candidates than they do the good old fashioned Republicans, the people that have saved America, and are making it great again,” he wrote.

He added: “All they talk about is Dumocrat Jihadists like El-Sayed, with his softball interview by Martha MacCallum, and the like. She never interviews me like that. They don’t show my record breaking Rallies the morning after, but others do, and that’s what MAGA is watching. Fox is promoting the Dumocrats, not the Republicans and MAGA. They have totally lost their way!”...

CNN conservative commentator Scott Jennings pleaded with fellow panelists to stop laughing after he tried to defend President Donald Trump's backhanded praise of Ken Paxton.

The exchange unfolded on CNN's "The Arena" after host Kasie Hunt played a clip of Trump talking about Paxton, the Texas attorney general who is running for the U.S. Senate.
