The Donald Trump donor who was approached by Kimberly Guilfoyle for $100K to pay off her AMEX card went on a wild rant on MS NOW on Thursday morning, pointing the finger at the people the president has surrounded himself with.
Late Wednesday the Wall Street Journal reported that Eric Deters, a former congressional candidate in Kentucky, was asked by the former Fox News personality to help her out of a jam before her July confirmation to be the ambassador to Greece.
“Honey please I need you to get this done for me today,” she texted Deters, using a prayer hands emoji and payment instructions from American Express, adding, “You could just send it here.”
Speaking with MS NOW’s Peter Alexander, Deters, who has a controversial history of his own, started out amiably with the host before exploding in anger and yelling, calling Guilfoyle a “a wicked evil person.”
“I wanted her help. The Wall Street Journal emphasized way too much that I had a civil tax issue relative to a deduction,” complained to Alexander before later adding, “Okay. She ambushed me out of the blue with this $100,000 American Express offer. And she offered me to be her 'ride and die forever’ if I did this. And to be very candid, I did not do it. But the reason why I did not do it is I didn't have that money at the time. It was the worst time that you could have ever asked me for another $100,000.”
“What does this do to change your view about Donald Trump and the administration that he leads?” Alexander asked.
“You and I might disagree with this, but here I can sum up my feelings about Trump in this easy. One: I like most of his policies. Two: I cannot stand his megalomania, his egomania, his, you know, Mount Rushmore talk and [Washington Mall] arch talk. I support the ballroom,” he replied.
“Donald Trump loves billionaires and any MAGA politician, he doesn't care about average rank and file people unless they're for his votes,” he continued. “I cannot stand President Trump personally, okay? I cannot stand Kimberly Guilfoyle. Kimberly Guilfoyle is a wicked, evil person. She thought I was going to be a sucker and I'm not a sucker.”
Asked about his history of paying Trump’s sons, Don Jr and Eric, “Hundreds of thousands of dollars,” Deters raised his voice even more and replied, “No, I have I had no issues. The only thing that bothers me about Don Jr and Eric Trump is how they, along with their father, are getting rich out in the open with crypto and everything else. President Trump said he hated crypto — his son's getting crypto now. He loves crypto in my opinion.”
“Hunter Biden and Joe Biden were shadow grifters,” he accused. “The Trumps are in the open. I mean, I mean they're all -- it's the same thing being done in a different way. Jared Kushner, $3 billion fund from Saudi Arabia after he negotiates the Abraham Accords. I'm a Midwest farm boy. I'm a good dude. I don't like their yuck yuck world. You couldn't pay me to go back to Mar-a-Lago.”
