Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy called out a yawning child who did not appear to be thrilled with his speech.
During an event in Philadelphia on Thursday, some of the city's schoolchildren were on hand to hear Duffy talk about America's 250th birthday.
"Are you guys excited to be in Philadelphia?" Duffy asked the kids.
"Yes," the group responded, prompting him to ask twice more.
"No, are you excited to be in Philadelphia?" he exclaimed.
"Yes!" the children shouted back.
"See, that's what I'm talking about," Duffy said. "That's excitement, that's energy."
But as the secretary droned on about how he was spearheading an effort to wrap trains, planes, and buses with red, white, and blue for the America250 celebration, some of the children seemed to lose focus.
"There's no yawning in this!" he said, singling out one child. "We don't yawn. We're going to be thrilled to be here."
