This is Trump's most dangerous operative — and few Americans have heard of him

The White House Communications Department always stretched the truth — it's been caught in a lie many more times than once.

But there was a period in which official White House communications came with a particular seriousness, gravitas, perfection in wording, and more often than not, the position of a president representing every American. Donald J. Trump blew up any notion of the American presidency acting as such, but it took Steve Cheung — one of the most important and dangerous officials that the average American has never heard of — to eviscerate trust built up over generations in official White House communications.

Full-throttled dictator Trump may have one last resort if Dems win midterms

I’m allowing myself to believe that sane people may be in charge of Congress starting next January 20. I know, I know: Polls have gotten our hopes up before only to have them dashed on the rocky shores of political reality.

But this time it does seem as if congressional Republicans will finally get their comeuppance for their blind loyalty to Trump.

Terrified Trump's desperate spin is a damning confession

After nearly two years of weaponizing the DOJ, featuring official investigations and/or terminations of every career officer who was assigned to investigate Trump’s crimes against the United States, Trump’s DOJ has begun rehabilitating the reputation of former President Richard Nixon.

Even though Nixon was caught engaging in a botched break-in at the Democratic National Committee, illegal wiretapping, and pocketing illegal campaign contributions, more than half a century later, Trump defenders are considering a new spin on the whole scandal: Nixon was the victim of lawfare. Just like Trump.

Trump's vile promise threatens to send his own rank-and-file followers to jail

Donald Trump this week, once again, dangled his $5,000 bribe for voters, provided they let Republicans win the mid-term election. In his sick mind, Trump believes that the American people are just as corruptible and lawless as he is, willing to be bought for 5,000 foul-smelling smackers.

Bribery has been used by corrupt political bosses and big-time crooks to buy votes and sway election results for more than a century. Trump shares company with corrupt political operatives from Boss Tweed of Tammany Hall in New York in the late 19th century to Tom Pendergast in Missouri from 1910-1940, who launched Harry Truman’s political career.

Trump's bizarre invite is enough to put him in prison for life

On February 28, 2026, in the middle of the night, Trump released an 8-minute video telling the world that the U.S. had initiated ‘major combat operations’ in Iran. He didn’t pre-sell, pre-plan, or explain the purpose of his war to anyone other than Israel. He didn’t consult allies, or Congress, or Americans. When he attacked Iran, Trump made his disregard for the world’s opinion clear.

Had any real discussion or debate occurred — salivating enthusiasm from a dry drunk ‘war fighter’ doesn’t count — complexities of the Strait of Hormuz, supply logistics, and oil market volatilities would have surfaced. Today Trump’s folly in Iran continues, and the world whose opinion he dismissed is paying the price.

Payback looms as Trump gets told to shove his bribe

I have a confession, one I’m not necessarily proud of, and it’s this: I’m a little worried that Trump’s offer to pay $5,000 to every American adult if the Republicans somehow take the midterms is going to make a sufficient difference to enough indigent souls that it may tip some Senate races their way.

This makes no logical sense, I know. Of course, there’s not a single chance in hell he could actually make the payments happen, nor does he actually plan to. But this is the country that elected this swindling scumbag as president twice, so nothing should be seen as out of the realm.

Politically enmeshed Kimberly Guilfoyle's tangled web reveals true nature of Trump admin

Here’s today’s trivia question (which may turn out to be not at trivial at all when all the facts emerge): Who solicited money from a presidential donor in return for access to the head of the IRS over the donor’s taxes, was a Fox News host, was engaged to the son of the U.S. president, was the former wife of someone who wants to be the next U.S. president, who raised money for and spoke at a rally that led to an attack on the U.S. Capitol, and now is a U.S. ambassador?

If you guessed Kimberly Guilfoyle, you’d be correct on all counts.

Smirking Trump's slip into honesty may have doomed the longest con in American history

This week, the MAGA propaganda machine is going at ludicrous speed thanks to Donald Trump’s incendiary comments about the Iran War (which he promised wouldn’t happen during his 2024 campaign, but why should that matter to MAGA?) at a poorly attended campaign rally in Nebraska.

During his long bloviating rant, Trump stated that allowing Iran to "take out" Los Angeles and San Diego would be a "small price to pay" to keep the country safe as a whole.

Trump has only himself to blame for his explosive diarrhea problem

How do we eat healthy in the Trump era?

First, toss your salad. So far in 2026, there’ve been nearly 30,000 suspected cases of cyclospora — the explosive diarrhea parasite — with two fatalities. It’s been linked to produce from Taylor Farms, which supplies grocery stores and restaurants across the country, often under alternative brand names.

Trump's bombshell signals a horrific October Surprise is in the works

On Monday night in Grand Island, Nebraska, Donald Trump was trying to convince a tiny rally crowd to vote Republican when, as he is wont to do, he wandered off-prompter into a riff about what Iran could do to two American cities and the crowd cheered:

“They can take out a city. Let them take out Los Angeles, let them take out San Diego. This is a very small price to pay and it’s going to be over very soon.”

California Governor Gavin Newsom said:

Poisonous Natalie Harp will be the first head to roll in Trump's next purge

Who among us hasn’t been fascinated with the relationship between Donald Trump and Natalie Harp? Well, at least those of us who are obsessed with politics and palace intrigue.

Why, only this week their relationship faced renewed scrutiny following a Nebraska rally where onlookers criticized Trump for leering at Harp. He said that Harp was a “perfect person.” He’s also said that AI should be renamed SI for “super intelligence.”

The ammo that will wipe out Congress is in the GOP's own slogan

In a nationwide poll conducted a few weeks ago and reported on by Axios, the majority of all registered voters surveyed said the number one word to describe Donald Trump is “corrupt.” This represents a massive opportunity for Democrats both now and for the next two years.

And the experience of candidates in today’s Democrats’ position around the world validates the argument that this is the best way to both campaign and win elections and political power.
