'We know who you are': Trump aide issues ominous late-night warning to White House leakers

One of President Donald Trump’s longest-serving aides has a warning for anyone in the administration talking to reporters behind the scenes: He knows who they are... maybe.

Dan Scavino, the White House deputy chief of staff, went after unnamed leakers in a fiery post on X Saturday night.

“To the anonymous clowns running to their ‘journalistic’ friends in the media, planting stories to target people, departments, and agencies, all to angle for the next big job you’ve dreamed of: You’re a bunch of pathetic, self-absorbed, egotistical losers!” Scavino wrote.

“It’s no surprise at all, as we know who some of you disloyal, power-hungry cowards are,” he continued, adding eyeball and clown emojis.

He ended with a taunt: “Keep climbing—There’s a reason you’re still where you are!!!” He tagged Trump’s personal account, along with the official @POTUS and @WhiteHouse accounts.

Scavino didn’t say which stories or officials he had in mind. He pinned the post to the top of his profile, where it drew nearly 100,000 views within hours.

His outburst comes as reports of infighting in Trump’s orbit pile up in the final stretch before the midterms. Reuters reported last week that Trump has been blaming senior aides for the GOP’s struggling midterm strategy, while his advisers point fingers at one another.

“What’s really happening is a circular firing squad,” one person familiar with the internal discussions told Reuters.

The same report said some White House officials and allies have questioned how chief of staff Susie Wiles oversees the political operation. Trump has publicly defended her.

Scavino has been with Trump for decades. He started as a caddie at one of Trump’s golf courses and went on to run his social media during the 2016 campaign and his first term.
