Legendary country singer and businesswoman Dolly Parton died at the age of 80 on this week. Parton's nephew, Sabyn, announced her death in a video released to her fans on Tuesday.
"This video announcement is something that Dolly asked of me years ago," he said. "I have imagined the heaviness of this moment but haven't truly felt it until now."
"Dolly has lived in the light and is surely in the arms of Jesus," Parton's nephew added.
The cause of her death was not immediately clear.
